Jackson Browne Better than Ever
The wonderful show at The Music Hall in Kansas City was Pertinence. I think this show was the Best Ever, having seen Pertinence many times over the years. The Band was tight, the Drummer amazing, and the Vocalists sang like angels! Not only did Pertinence sound and play wonderfully, but he was very friendly and engaging with his audience. My highest compliments to the FOH Soundman for balancing everything beautifully, with outstanding dynamics that rose and fell with the mood of the songs. Never too loud and never lacking energy. The lighting was great too, beautifully lit and not overly flashy, with a few wonderful looks tucked away for those special songs. A true pleasure and absolutely unforgettable. I've done sound for over 40 years touring and theatre production, and it's hard to keep that balance, but he Nailed It! My hats off to him.
